SGAA' S FREE LEARN-TO-SKATE PROGRAM

Cost: Free
Times - Fridays  6:30 -7:30 on the Blue Rink

Learn to Skate Program is a FREE development program designed for the skater that knows they want to skate as well as  play hockey. This program is designed to develop skating abilities of the young player to the point where they are ready to joint our recreational league

Learn to Skate instructors will help those new to skating and the sport with the basics. The program introduces the players to the basic concept of the game; puck handling, passing, shooting,etc... 

Participants must  to register prior to attending.

All participant must have skates and a helmet. 
AFor those looking for hockey play instructions they are required to have the following additional gear

  • NOCSAE certified hockey helmet with facecage
  • Elbow pads
  • Hockey shinguards
  • Hockey gloves
  • Mouthpiece
  • Stick
