WELCOME TO SGAA YOUTH INLINE HOCKEY

South Gwinnett Athletic Association Inline Hockey  offers roller hockey and skating/hockey training programs to the youth of the South Gwinnett of metro Atlanta area of all ages and skill levels. . We are a co-ed recreational league, open to players of all ages and abilities that strongly encourages player development including our  free Learn-to-Skate program for new skaters  Roller hockey offers players a chance to learn teamwork, get exercise and exhibit sportsmanship in a nonstop fast-paced yet safe environment. 

The league plays at the SGAA Dual Decks at 2115 McGee Road   Snellvile, Georgia- a one a kind facility in metro  Atlanta with two full sized indoor rinks.

MINI MITES HOCKEY DIVISION

Our entry level league for ages 4-6.   $50
Players will be split into two groups for Winter.

Group A: NEW players play in sneakers so they can learn hockey basics

Group B: We will begin a new group for returning players to  begin learning skills while on skates.

Parents may choose which group to put your child in .  Parents and coaches may discuss moving the player from one group to the other as well.

SGAA REC HOCKEY LOWER DIVISIONS

AMATEUR HOCKEY LEAGUE (AHL)  - For new players and those 8 & under. 

INTERMEDIATE HOCKEY LEAGUE (IHL) For intermediate players ages 11 & under, 12 y/o 5th graders, or new players who are older.  

NEW PLAYERS - $50 (Jersey included)
RETURNING PLAYERS - $130  (+$25 for SGAA jersey if needed)

MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS

MIDDLE SCHOOL – Grade 6-8  /   HIGH SCHOOL - Grades 9-12
For experienced competitive players as part of the Metro Atlanta Roller Hockey League (MARHL) Travel is required
Season runs September – March

SOUTH GWINNETT  YOUTH INLINE HOCKEY CODE OF CONDUCT 

As we get ready for another season we want to  again emphasize the expectations we have for all involved, The goal of the South Gwinnett Inline Hockey is to provide a competitive roller hockey program for the youth of our community with an emphasis on sportsmanship and athletic skill development for all players. Parent and player actions are equally as important as that of the coach. Self-discipline, courtesy, dignity, good sportsmanship, and strict adherence to SGAA rules are important to the success of this program. All parents and players are required to abide by a code of conduct .

Please note that not abiding by the code of conduct may result in consequences,including suspension or expulsion from SGAA Youth Inline Hockey and the Association as a whole.
